Who can join Africa's intellectual rebirth
General Criteria
All members must demonstrate:
- Commitment to African-centered thinking: A genuine dedication to developing solutions from African perspectives and contexts
- Ethical knowledge use: Commitment to ethical research, innovation, and knowledge sharing practices
- Respect for intellectual property: Understanding and commitment to protecting intellectual property rights
- Willingness to contribute: Active participation in the intellectual community through sharing, collaboration, and mentorship
Membership Categories
Student / Emerging Thinker
- Academic engagement: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an educational institution
- Intellectual curiosity: Demonstrated interest in African intellectual development and innovation
Innovator / Inventor
- Project, prototype, or idea evidence: Demonstrable innovation, invention, or idea in development or implementation
Researcher / Scholar
- Research background or publications: Active research work, publications, or significant contributions to knowledge
Creative
- Creative or cultural output: Demonstrated work in arts, culture, media, or creative industries with African focus
Mentor / Intellectual Fellow
- Proven experience: Significant experience in intellectual work, innovation, or leadership
- Willingness to guide: Commitment to mentoring emerging thinkers and innovators
Investor / Funding Partner
- Ethical investment alignment: Commitment to supporting African innovation and intellectual development
